It's a Happy Day with Sweet Sketch Wednesday & Echo Park!

Hello Friends! Happy Monday! Ok, so I am one of those that is happy when Monday arrives. With my DH deployed, weekends can be a bit of a depressing snooze-fest. Not that we are actually sleeping, but I am sure you get the picture. So, I am glad Monday has arrived, and I hope everyone who had to endure hurricane Irene over the weekend has come out fairly unscathed....

Anyway, on to today's card.... I am very happy with this one! It cheers me up just lookin' at it! My BFF, Cassie, sent me this adorable TE stamp set called Downtown Diva which coordinated so well with the retro Echo Park dp - Happy Days. The sketch is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday .. how perfect for a "Sweet" card like this one! ( sweet shoppe.. sentiment- you're so sweet ... hehe ) I would love to hear what you think! Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a great week ahead. :o)

Clearly Inspired Challenge #33 -- Scripture --

Hello friends! Happy Friday! Not only is it Friday, it is Clearly Inspired Challenge Friday! This time, my BFF and CIC hostess, Cassie, has challenged us to use Scripture on our projects.

After much deliberation, I decided to use this great stamp set from our July releases, Assemble Together, which can be seen HERE. I stamped the church image directly onto dp to give it that weathered, old church look.

-Participants can use any stamps or digis from any company

-Prizes will be given away after both challenges for the month. The number of prizes is determined by the number of participants for the month. August Sparks challenge & Sweet Sketch Wednesday #114

Hello friends! Welcome to Thursday. Today started out with the welcome sound of raindrops hitting my skylights. Around here, rain is an exciting event! Anyway, my BFF, Cassie's daughter is celebrating her 10th birthday next week, and I made this card especially for her. Sweet Sketch Wednesday provided the inspirational sketch, and Paper Smooches' Sparks Challenge provided the rest of the inspiration with the colors and elements such as flowers, distressing, pearls and textures. I saw this idea to turn the santa paws doggie into a b-day dog on the Paper Smooches blog, I wish I were this clever on my own! It is actually one of the main reasons I decided to buy this stamp set! It is so versatile, not just for Christmas!

Stampin Sisters in Christ #101 & Friday Mashup #18

Looking for this week's Clearly Inspired Challenge? Click HERE to see my post.

Hello Friends! Happy Monday! Well, I hope it is a happy Monday for you. I am doing my best to enjoy my day. I did get a phone call from my DH yesterday, so that is helping today be a bit more bareable.
Well, today I have this cute little hedgehog to share with you. Isnt he just so happy? His smile is so contageous, well, as contageous as a stamped image can be.. haha..
This card is for two challenges, the first being Stampin Sisters in Christ, where the challenge is to use forgotten once 'must have' items. My forgotten item is the pink rhinestones that the hedgehog is holding. I love rhinestones, especially the self-adhesive ones, and it seems, I always forget about them.
The second challenge is The Friday MashUp. The challenge over there is "True Love Sparkles & Shines"  make a glittery card or an anniversary card, or mash them up and make a glittery anniversary card! I think the rhinestones and the sentiment on the card mash into a nice glittery anniversary card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
