September Sneak Peeks Day One!

Here we are again! Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peeks time! The very best time of the month! Today I have two cards to share from this elegant new release stamp set, A Season of Wonder.
The very moment I saw this stamp set, I envisioned paper piecing her head-piece with this exact paper and pairing it with the moroccan screen embossing folder. Sometimes, ideas dont really come to fruition, but, today, I am thrilled with the results.

Details:
Stamps: A Season of Wonder (CDS)
Paper: Lakeshore textured & Crushed Curry textured cs,
Material Girl dp
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Crushed Curry
Tools/Accessories: Labels One Nestabilities, Corner Rounder
Ticket corner punch, Crushed Curry Ribbon, Lakeshore ribbon,
Moroccan screen embossing folder,sponge
Technique: Paper Piecing

For my second example, I wanted the image of Mary and Baby Jesus to be the main focus, and with that line of thought, I chose to use whisper white and labels 7, which reminds me of an open book, the Bible perhaps ... also the dsp reminds me of the starry night on the night of His birth.

Stamps: A Season of Wonder (CDS)
Paper: Whisper White, unknown dp
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Dusty Durango
Coloring Medium: Prismacolor Pencils & Gamsol
Tools/Accessories: Dusty Durango ribbon, unknown edge punch

Limelight All Occasions Sentiment Sketch #54

Hello! Happy day! Yesterday afternoon I found some time to play with my new August Key Ingredients Kit from Taylored Expressions. I made both of these cards using only the kit ingredients, not even any stamping! For the butterfly card, I used the sketch at Limelight as inspiration, the second part of the challenge is to use an "all occasion sentiment" which I did using stickers!

Paper: August KI kit (TE)
Ink: None
Tools/Acccessories: Corner Rounder, Floral Screen embossig folder,

This second card is another made with only August Key Ingredients kit. I made this with the challenge at Stampin Royalty in mind, which is a theme: School Days. My son started first grade about 3 weeks ago, so he was my inspiration.

Creative Inspirations Sketch #74

Hello! Happy Thursday! This is a super fun card I made for the Creative Inspirations challenge #74. Right away upon checking out the challenge, I knew I was going to use this great stamp set, Spider Greetings, one of the great August new releases from Clear Dollar Stamps. It is a set of 14 for only $7.99! That is one of the many reasons I love Clear Dollar Stamps, great products at a great price.

After embossing the basic black background paper, I took my whisper white craft stamp pad and just lightly brushed it all around. I wasnt sure how it would turn out, and I was thrilled with the results!

I have been getting into decorating the insides of cards with the influence of my BFF, Cassie. With the inside of this one, I simply stamped and colored the images on whisper white and inked the edges with my Momento Tuxedo Black ink pad

Details:
Stamps: Spider Greetings (CDS)
Paper: Wild Huckleberry (CDS clearly coordinating), Basic Black,
Whisper White, unknown dp
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Whisper White craft
Tombow marker #676 Wild Huckelberry marker (clearly coordinating)
Tools/Accessories: Tiny bubbles Embossing folder, Pinking Circles &
Circles Nestabilities

Our new family member

Hi everyone! After many many weeks of patiently waiting, the time finally came for us to pick up our new puppy, Murphy. He is a little ball of bullmastiff fun. He is 9 weeks old and already 15.5 lbs. I am enjoying picking him up now because soon enough I wont be able to! (hahaha)

So, as much as I love our puppy and am happy he is here, I have not been able to spend any time in my craft room this week! I need to stay downstairs with Murphy as much as I can since he is too little to go upstairs..

I hope to get to spend some quality time in the ole craft room this week coming up since my husband is home on some "oppertunity leave" The stuff the army comes up with.. at least its a week of time home for my husband!

I hope to be back soon posting some fun creations. For now, Im keeping my eye on Murphy.

Hello! This is my second post of the day, like I said in my last post, I got some good quality time in my craft room yesterday!
I made this one for the awesome sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. And I had so much fun making it! I stamped my WTG first on the "wallpaper" dp and then on the green dp and a third time on the brown floral dp, which is all from OA Farm Fresh, and then I again stamped her on Whisper White, and finally the paper piecing began. I was also inspired by the challenge from last week at The Pink Elephant, which was "Something Sweet". . . Chocolate cake anyone? Yum.

Stamps: Lovin' from the Oven (MFT)
Paper: Whisper White, OA Farm Fresh, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Chocolate Chip
Coloring Medium: Prismacolors
Tools/Accessories: Corner Rounder, Fillagree brads, Basic Grey blue brads

Inspired by my BFF, Cassie, I have decorated the inside of my card:

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Stampin Royalty #31 Make your own dp

Hello! Happy Monday to everyone!
Yesterday was a quiet day in the Bryant house, save for the BAM BAM BAM sounds from my husband installing wood laminate floors in our kitchen / dining area. While he was working, I got to spend some quality time in my craft room.
This card is for the challenge at Stampin Royalty, which this week is to make your own DSP. I love dsp and often base my whole card around it! So, as much fun as it was to make this card, it was challenging to start off with a blank piece of paper.
I used two Clear Dollar Stamps on this one. Plumes & Blooms for the background, and my main image is from a neat set called Air Flair.
Oh! And the best part about making this card is that I got to use my brand new super awesome, super vibrant Hybrid Ink pads from Clear Dollar Stamps! They are newly released addition to the awesome Clearly Coordinating collection of cardstock, Tombow markers, ribbons, and now Hybrid ink all perfectly matching.
Stamps: Plumes & Blooms, Air Flair (CDS)
Paper: Pucker Up (CDS), Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Inks: Pucker Up, Wild Huckelberry, Fresh Papaya, Spring Leaf - all from the clearly coordinating collection at Clear Dollar
Accents/Tools: Word Window, Modern label punch
