Hello! Happy Monday! Welcome to a new week! Today, I opened my mailbox and got an awesome suprise! My bestest BFF, Cassie, sent me a sweet card with this stamp set inside! Who doesnt love suprise RAK? And I am a sucker for WTG stamps - and this one was no exception! I had a blast with this stamp, I paper pieced almost the entire image! haha
I was not inspired by the RAK stamp set, but by the color challenge at Stacey's Stamping Stage - Curtian Call Act 28 color challenge: Rose Red, Not Quite Navy, Kraft & White. I really do LoVe these colors together! I am sure this combo will be on top of my fav's list very soon. I was also inspired by the sketch challenge at Get Sketchy. I like how clean and fun the layout is at the same time.
The Details:
Stamps: Gifty Girl (MFT)
Paper: Throughly Modern dsp, whisper white,
Kraft, Not Quite Navy
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Not Quite Navy
Tools/Accessories: Kraft corduroy brads, Word window,
corner rounder, Mosaic tile CB folder
Technique: Paper Piecing, Gamsol/Prismacolor coloring
