So today is the day, our son becomes a first grader, and we fly out to Florida. The best part, for me, is that we get to spend time with my BFF, Cassie and our son's BFF's (Cassie's kids) at the beach!
I love my husband so much, and espcially so since he planned this vacation so Cassie and I could hang out for a few days at the beach. We have remained close over the last 1 1/2 year since my family had to move 1500 miles away thanks to the internet, texting, calls, cards and blogging. She is my #1 inspiration for crafting and being a good parent and friend.
I hope to get to post a card maybe two over vacation, and I will definately be back posting often once we get back to our day to day routine.

Ok, reading that made me cry for several reasons. Connor cannot be a first grader. . .what the heck?! AND, I cannot wait to see you either! Should I bring some crafting supplies, teehee?! Be safe and have fun, and we'll chat about dates and details later ;D
