Clear Dollar Weekend Color Challenge #31

Just like my last post, I went into the craft room today with a purpose. Not only to create a card for a friend, or just to participate in a challenge, but to keep the healing process going. (I am not looking for sympathy, I have just been sharing a little bit of what I have been feeling this past week.)

Anyway, this card is for this weekend's clear dollar stamps weekend color challenge over at papercraft planet. This week's hostess is the very talented Shawnee and the colors she chose are: Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Sahara Sand. I love these colors so much that I held on to them after they retired, and that is a first for me! lol

And just now, when I looked at Shawnee's example again, I realized that I used the same nestie AND the same embossing folder as she did! That was totally an accident! But, I guess great minds think alike, right ! lol again..

I used two Clear Dollar stamp sets this time, Peony and Shining Strength. Thanks for stopping by ! I hope you comment and say HI!

Here are the details:
Stamps: Peony & Shining Strength (CD Stamps)
Paper: Sahara Sand, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Urban Oasis dsp,
Watercolor paper
Ink: Baja Breeze, Stazon Jet Black, Kiwi Kiss
Accessories: Labels 4 & Curved Rectangles mega nesties,
watercolor pen
PS: I just realized after looking at my SCS gallery that I used this same stamp set two CDSWCC's in a row! Oops! I guess that means I "need" to go shopping at clear dollar again! lol

Just Wow Christi. You are a strong woman! I feel your strength. You can do it!!! I just love how you colored Kim's beautiful Peony. It fits on that nestie perfectly. Awesome use of the colors. You go girl.
