Ok, here is my submission for this month's Clear Dollar July Guest Designer Challenge. This month, it is a sketch challenge. Yesterday, my New Stampin up stuff arrived and today my new Peony nesties arrived so, I knew I just had to use my new stuff! Appropriately enough, I chose my favorite stamp set: Peony designed by the very talented Kim Teasdale . I broke out my new In Colors and chose Rich Razzleberry textured cardstock for my card, and Razzleberry Lemonade dsp for the two panels. I used textured Crushed Curry cardstock for the peony nesties as well as a Rich Razzleberry and watercolor paper. I watercolored the peony with Rich Razzleberry ink and used my old olive marker to highlight the stem and leaf. On the left nestie I used a build-a-brad (without the brad) with a 1/2"circle of Razzleberry Lemonade dsp to balance the sentiment stamped in Rich Razzleberry on the right. The top center has three dew drops for a final accent. All the edges, except for the watercolor paper is sponged with Rich Razzleberry. The more I look at this card, the more I fall in love with it. It took me a few minutes to warm up to it .... I hope you enjoy it! Thank you for stopping by and for making my day with your sweet comments! :0)
